Security

This website takes every precaution to protect our users’ personal information. When users submit sensitive information via the website and application, they are protected online and offline.

While we use SSL encryption to protect sensitive information online, we also do everything we can to protect user information offline. All of our users’ information, not just the sensitive information mentioned above, is restricted in our offices. Only employees who need the information to perform a specific function – such as customer support are granted access to personal information.

All employees are kept up-to-date on our security and privacy practices. Every year, as well as any time new policies are added, our employees are notified and/or reminded about the importance we place on privacy, and what they can do to ensure our customers’ information is protected. Finally, the servers that we use to store personally identifiable information are kept in a secure environment.

Finally, the security access from your company as an employee, you can only access your own data; as a manager, you can access limited data of your employee, and as HR personnel you are the data controller of your company: you can access the data you input on behalf of your employee into Hadir.

The database of every company is created separately, no users can access the data of other companies.

How We Collect Information from You

Hadir collects the following personal information:

  • Name, address, telephone number, email address and business details when you or your employer creates a Hadir account.
  • Communications with us e.g. email, suggestions, a request for information about our products and services or any other correspondence.
  • We collect location-based data (GPS coordinates) through our geolocation feature if the employer has requested users to log in with their GPS location.
  • We collect time entry and attendance data when users use the App.
  • Your Internet Protocol (IP) address (if using a browser), operating system, browser type, the address of a referring site and any device identifier (if using a mobile device or tablet).

The lawful basis for collecting your data in this way is:

  • You provide your consent at the point of registration for us to do so and by accepting our Terms & Conditions.
  • Processing your data as explained above is necessary for us to provide Hadir’s services to users.
  • Some of that data is processed for the purposes of our legitimate interests.

How We Use Your Information

Hadir acts as a data processor and uses personal information to improve the quality of the services that we offer. Ways in which we may do this include:

  • Cross-referencing your information with that received from our partners to provide a more enhanced and personalised website and application experience.
  • Using the information you provide in our communications with you. For instance, in responding to your email or inquiries, resolving disputes, contacting you regarding any other operational issues with the website and application or matters involving product or service transactions, addressing problems on the website and application or our Service and enforcing our agreements with you.

Sharing Your Information

  • To facilitate the operation of the website and application and to perform related services. For example and without limitation, maintenance services, database management, web analytics and improvement of the Service’s features or to assist us in analysing how our website and application are used. Updating Personal Information

If a user’s personally identifiable information, such as their email address, changes, we offer a means to rectify, update, or remove the personal data. Admin will facilitate these changes.

Consequences of failing to supply personal data

You may choose whether or not to provide your Personal Information to us. If you choose not to do so, you may not be able to take advantage of certain services that depend on Personal Information, such as the leave application system, or the benefits (e.g. insurance) provided by your employer.

Retention of the data

If you’re still actively using Hadir, the data shall be kept for at least 7 years according to the law.

If you’re not using Hadir anymore and request us to remove the data, we will clean it and not keep a copy of your data on Hadir.

The integrity of the data

We shall take reasonable steps to ensure that the personal data collected is accurate, complete, not misleading and kept up-to-date.

Legal Disclaimer

Though we make every effort to preserve your privacy we may need to disclose personal information when required by law wherein we have a good-faith belief that such action is necessary to comply with a current judicial proceeding, a court order or legal process served on our website.

By accessing, using or continuing to access or use our websites, you are indicating your acceptance to be bound by the terms and conditions of this Policy and consent to us processing your personal data in accordance with the terms and conditions of this Policy.
